When I first designed the Tip Tops I thought they were great. They were spot on for holding tip and butt sections together, protecting them when travelling to and from a fishery. However, I then realised I could enhance the protection further. My new Tip Top Ring Protectors have a padded pouch to slip over and protect your butt ring. It is the butt rings that are most prone to damage. Tip Top Ring Protectors will accommodate butt rings of anything up to 50 mm safely and securely. You can’t ask for more.
