Size 8 - 8's are the largest and strongest of the margin carp range and are capable of hooking and holding big carp on extra strong margin carp gear. They can be tied to lines up to 8lb,even 10lb but you have to tighten the whipping knot 100%Sie 10 - Normally tied to lines between 5lb & 8lb and are so strong that on balanced tackle they are virtually impossible to gape. The long needle point is slightly curved with its very tip turned in to provide a really good secure hook hold.Size 12 - 12's are a good size for slightly bigger baits ,double pellet or combinations like sweetcorn and maggot. In 0.60mm forged wire they are strong enough to be fished either on rod & reel or extra strong pole gear.Normally tied to lines of 4lb to 7lbSize 14 - 14's are the most popular size of barbless hook because they are ideal for so many of the most successful carp baits, pellet, sweetcorn, worm and meat etc. With a slightly inturned point, very few fish are lost.Ideal lines from 3 1/2lb to 6lbSize 16 - 16 is an ideal size for a wide range of baits, caster, single or double maggot, sweetcorn, small pellet etc.In 0.48mm super high carbon steel wire this is a seriously strong little hook which can be tied to lines from 3lb right up to 5lb.Size 18 - Being so thick in the wire and relatively narrow in the gape makes these 18 exceptionally strong. They are ideal for double or single maggot, caster, small baits etc.Normally tied to lines between 2 3/4lb & 4lbSize 20 - These are some of the hardest and strongest barbless spade ends available and this size 20 makes an excellent extra strong single maggot hook.To counterbalance the weight of this hook you can water the maggot and make them float.Normal line range 2 1/2lb to 3lb
